Wild West Shirt Company Story

Our Story

For nearly a half a century, Wild West Shirt Company has designed custom T-shirts, apparel and accessories featuring some of America’s famous National Parks, awe-inspiring wildlife, and most scenic outdoor destinations from coast to coast.

It was a pioneering spirit and passion for the outdoors that led a University of Montana student, originally from Livingston, Montana to create the brand’s first T-shirts and sell them from the trunk of his car to his friends who worked with him at Yellowstone Park in the mid sixties. As the T-shirts gained popularity among his friends and visitors to Yellowstone, he decided to open his first store front in Bozeman in 1973 and began servicing a wide range of customers from small "Mom-and-Pop" retail shops to large multi-national resort management companies.

Today, Wild West Shirt Company expansion and innovation is being fueled by the passion and commitment of Jeff Cooperman, who acquired the company in 2019. The Wild West factory and production is now based in West Nyack, NY with designs still being created from their office in Bozeman, Montana and in New York.

Current product line is a broad assortment of apparel for men, women, youth, and infants plus caps, stickers, tin signs and other related accessories. New innovative designs and products have been created to complement signature best sellers and vintage collections. Design themes go far beyond just National Parks to include Coastal Beaches, Harbors, Lakes, Wildlife, Fishing, Skiing, Caverns, Southwest, Zoos and Aquariums.
